Happy Birthday Papa!!

Today was Papa's 71st birthday! He had to spend in in the hospital still in fort worth, but that was ok we brought the party to him. He was surprised to see everyone but sure glad we came. Every since his surgery and him being in the hospital Bryson has been standoffish towards him and wouldn't go to him or anything since he has been laying in that bed but today Bryson opened up and laid in bed with him and kissed him and talked his ear off, which was good for Papa's spirits. Today we went swimming with Nana and Grandpa, it didn't last long before he wanted to get out and get into the hot tub with grandpa. Yes, he does have pink floaties on because he bit holes in his blue Nemo one so he was borrowing Braley's pink floaties. After that he took bubble bath and played in the bubbles as she can see below he had a lot of fun! Not much has been going on around here so there isn't much to blog about so I will try to get some pictures and get back with you!!

6/21 Happy Birthday Nana

Sunday was fathers day and also Bryson's Nanas birthday! I made her a cake and there are pictures below. Bryson liked it- well liked sticking his finger in the butter cream icing on the outside and eating it or letting Nana eat it off his finger. It was red velvet for the bottom tier and chocolate for the top. Its been very busy in our house with Papa being in the hospital an having had surgery, so there hasn't been a lot of time for posting, just a lot of going back and forth to fort worth and so on! Go Rangers!!

Two Sundays ago we (Me, Bryson, Wesley, Haley, Flat Stanley & KK ) went to a rangers game, it was Ian Kensler jersey day for the kids so that was why we chose that game. The kids enjoyed it although they both napped through the first few innings, I'm not sure how they managed it but it was needed badly by Bryson! Bryson would cheer and clap his hands and dance to the music, he had everyone around us looking at him and watching him, laughing. We also took "Flat Stanley" for those of you who know what that is, he was from Chicago going to a Texas Ranger game, if you don't know what it is you will find out around 2nd-3rd grade. The kids were so exhausted by the time if was time to go home they both passed out in the back seat after we let KK out. It was a fun day all together and the weather was great, cant wait for our next game in August that we are going to!

A Bryson Update

Sorry for the delay in blogging once again, a lot has been happening. First off we had our first visit to the Dentist office, which went ok they did a fluoride treatment and checked to make sure his teeth were coming in ok. Took a whole 15 mins, but we got a new cooler toothbrush! Next I bought a play set for him for outside. He plays so well outside he is an outside boy, as long as he is outside he is fine. I bought a used Little Tikes 8 in 1 play set off of Craigslist, took lots of looking and calling apparently everyone is looking for those so they go quick. He loves it, there are pictures of him on his new play set below. Also we frog hunt, he wont touch the frogs but he will point at them and then his basket for me to pick them up and put them in his basket, hes afraid to touch them. Other pictures are: Bryson after eating corn on the cob (his favorite), Bryson thinking he is mowing with Grandpa, and Bryson seeing Nana for the first time in a week when she got back from China.

Happy Easter

Once again Bryson went to see the Easter bunny, and it was worse than last year as you can tell by the photo. For Easter we made our rounds to Nanny's house, then to Wes's grandparents and parents. Bryson and Haley hunted eggs together at Granmommys and Grandads and he did ok with that he wanted to throw them because they look like balls which he loves. He also went to hunt eggs with Ava on Saturday but wasn't able to because it started raining. Here are some Easter pictures and recent pictures. ENJOY!
